Earth Day 2023 Service Projects

Join us for a day of service to celebrate Earth Day by lending a hand in our wild areas. There will be several volunteer projects happening, including non-native invasive plant removal, garden cleanup and tree planting (trees to be planted are limited). Volunteers will check in at the welcome table and find a project to join. Then visit the Youth Climate Institute Energy Team’s table to swap out your old lightbulbs for new energy-efficient LEDs (free!) and participate in a clothing swap (bring your no longer needed hats, t-shirts and shorts).

Details and Info:

  • There will be several projects available to join. Volunteers will find project when they check in at the welcome table. Trees are limited.
  • Please remember to dress for the weather.
  • Long pants and long sleeves are recommended.
  • Please bring your reusable water bottle and fill up at our bottle refilling station in our nature center.

FREE–space will be limited, advance registration required.

Online registration ends 24 hours prior to the event. If a program is canceled by the Conservancy, participants will be notified and offered a refund. All other program fees are non-refundable and support educational programs at the Conservancy. Organized groups may not be able to be accommodated at our free programs. Please contact the Conservancy about scheduling a separate program for your group.
