Looking to engage your children in outdoor exploration?
Children in kindergarten – 2nd grade are invited to join the Howard County Conservancy at Belmont for a monthly series of outdoor exploration. Students are encouraged to investigate environmental sciences and follow their natural curiosity across a variety of landscapes in Belmont Historic Park in Elkridge.
March Series: Weekly, Tuesdays and Thursdays

Monthly registration: $100 per month

Registration policies and details
Who can attend?
Children ages 5—8 welcome. You must register in advance and pay in full to reserve your child’s spot. 48 hour advanced registration is required. Please note, when registering for this series, you are enrolling for the entire month (8 sessions). This is a drop off program and guardians are not required to attend with their students. A limited number of students will be permitted each session, so sign your child up today! 2024’s first session is available on our Parent Portal.

* The Conservancy reserves the right to cancel if registration does not meet the minimum of 7 students per session.
Refund Policy
In accepting your online registration, the Conservancy reserves a place for your child and hires staff according to registrations and deposits paid. Therefore, refunds are processed according to the schedule below, less a $25 refund fee for each transaction.
– A full refund, minus refund fees, is permitted up to 14 days prior to the start of the session.
*No refunds will be provided after 14 days prior to the start of the session unless the child suffers a medical emergency, attested to by a physician, which keeps the child from attending. Refunds are not given for absence, sick days or if a student is dismissed due to behavioral problems.
