Oct. 12 / 6 p.m. / $
Join John McCoy, watershed manager for the Columbia Association, for an evening of exploring the importance of healthy watersheds. The evening will begin with a walk (weather-permitting) down to the stream restoration area to look at the progress of the watershed project at Mt. Pleasant, followed by a presentation in the nature center. McCoy will talk about what a watershed is, what makes a watershed healthy, why watersheds are vital and what role residents play in the condition of our watersheds.
