Join us for the big reveal of our new art installation! The Conservancy commissioned a mural for the back wall of the farmstead’s carriage house that depicts “Land Over Time,” the natural and cultural history of the land that became Mt. Pleasant. Artist Cecelia Ford painted the animals and people that shaped this farmstead over the years, including the Brown sisters on the farmhouse porch, the enslaved people who worked the fields and the Piscataway tribal members who were its stewards for centuries. Come meet Ford, enjoy some hot cocoa and admire our newest piece of art on Saturday, Dec. 2, 9:30 a.m., just before the opening of our Natural Holiday Sale.
Online registration ends 24 hours prior to the event. If a program is canceled by the Conservancy, participants will be notified and offered a refund. All other program fees are non-refundable and support educational programs at the Conservancy. Organized groups may not be able to be accommodated at our free programs.
