May 10 / 6:30p.m. / FREE
Join us at Howard County Conservancy for an evening of history and heritage. The Piscataway Nation Singers & Dancers will perform traditional Indigenous music and dancing in our newly built outdoor venue, the Bob and Janine Grossman Amphitheater. Mark Tayac travels from Tayac Territory in Southern Maryland with the Piscataway Nation Singers & Dancers, presenting a pow wow-style event with American Indian dance, drum and song. The walk through the Honors Garden to the amphitheater is paved and ADA accessible. There are limited bench seats, but ample spots on the grass. All ages welcome. In the event of rain, the program will be moved indoors. Bring a picnic and reusable water bottles, we’ll have refilling stations.
FREE // Space limited. Advanced registration required.
