The students at the Youth Climate Institute were ready for their close-ups at the Watershed Report Card Summit in April! The Conservancy’s YCI hit the news on WJZ TV just before Earth Day, when they were planting trees, working the grounds and premiering their submersible remote vehicle. Ambassadors talked about their passion for the environment and the practical, legislative and actionable solutions they’ve been working on.
“We want to make sure that the world that we are building today is one that can continue to be used and won’t end in disaster,” said Maia Boswell, a YCI Certified Ambassador and a junior at Glenelg High School.
