Winter Hibernation Challenge

Join the Howard County Conservancy for our annual Winter Challenge: Hibernation!

It’s time for our Winter challenge, when we encourage you to spend time outdoors at a park or in your neighborhood while helping to raise $12,000  to keep the Conservancy’s 232 acres green, FREE and open to all! Participants will receive a limited edition locally made fleece winter headband (while supplies last) and will be entered to win awesome raffle prizes throughout the challenge! So go explore the beauty and wonder of winter, complete challenges and enter to win fun prizes!

Register Donate $40 for a single registration (includes 1 locally made fleece winter headband, while supplies last) or $60 for a family (includes 4 locally made fleece headbands, while supplies last). All registration include a FREE guided hike of the Conservancy on Saturday, January 21st (weather permitting) and opportunities to win raffle prizes!

To enter raffles, register and complete one of the following by February 11th:

 Active Challenge: Walk, run or hike 50 miles of trails (1 raffle ticket for every 10 miles)

Hibernation Challenge: follow our winter scavenger hunt (1 raffle ticket for every 10 items completed)

OR 

For every $500 raised on Facebook for the Conservancy, you earn a prize!

Winners will be announced February 16th!

Online registration ends 24 hours prior to the event. If a program is canceled by the Conservancy, participants will be notified and offered a refund. All other program fees are non-refundable and support educational programs at the Conservancy. Organized groups may not be able to be accommodated at our free programs. Please contact the Conservancy about scheduling a separate program for your group.
