It’s our favorite time of the year because the butterflies are here! Join butterfly guides from the Howard County Bird Club and the Conservancy for a walk around our Mt. Pleasant trails and gardens to learn butterfly identification tips and tricks and see what butterflies you can spot!
- The walk will begin in front of the Gudelsky Environmental Education Center (large gray building) promptly at 10:30am and will be approximately an hour and a half long.
- Please remember to dress for the weather and bring your reusable water bottle.
- This is beginning level walk for adults and interested children over 8 years old (accompanied by an adult).
- Though dogs on leash are permitted on our grounds, please refrain from bringing your pet on this hike.

Online registration ends 24 hours prior to the event. If a program is canceled by the Conservancy, participants will be notified and offered a refund. All other program fees are non-refundable and support educational programs at the Conservancy. Organized groups may not be able to be accommodated at our free programs. Please contact the Conservancy about scheduling a separate program for your group.
