PROGRAM FULL: Pooh, Piglet & the Woozles in the 100 Acre Wood

June 9, 2018 @ 10:00 am - 11:00 am

Free
Nature Campers hiking in beautiful meadows - summer camp at the Howard County Conservancy

To PRE-REGISTERED attendees – the EVENT IS ON today, but come dressed for the weather. We will watch the weather closely and may alter the program as needed.

This popular program is already full. We hope to see you at another upcoming event soon.

Wander like Pooh: Hike, art and storytelling!  Join Conservancy naturalist Lisa Schlossnagle on this Winnie-the-Pooh themed family hike. After reading  “In which Pooh and Piglet go hunting and nearly catch a Woozle” at the children’s garden/stump playground, we will use our senses to observe signs of possible Woozles on the trail, stopping along the way to sketch both the nature before them and the imagined Woozle habitats. Bring your own sketchbooks and drawing tools.  Please register early to ensure your spot! Check website in case of inclement weather.  Lisa Schlossnagle has enjoyed 15 years of supporting elementary education through her work as a general educator, science educator, and community volunteer. She has served the Howard County Conservancy as a volunteer naturalist and education assistant. Lisa co-founded HowGirlsCode, a local nonprofit providing computer science after school programs and summer camps to elementary school girls in Howard County.
