Hike to the Patapsco River / FREE
April 11 @ 10:00 am - 12:00 pm
The Conservancy’s Mt Pleasant property borders Patapsco State Park. Join Woody Merkle, Dave Lyons, John Cookson and other Conservancy naturalists on a 2-hour, approximately 3-mile round trip hike across meadows, tree lines and paths through the woods. Spring presents itself with ephemeral wildflowers, ferns and mosses, migrating birds, and trees and bushes that are leafing out and bursting their buds. Awaken your spirits as we search for Spring’s beauties together. Choose between an easy-to-moderate walk and a more strenuous hike; both involve some some hilly and rocky areas of the trail. Wear sturdy shoes/shoes that can get muddy; bring water and perhaps a walking stick.
