July 13th / 6-9pm / $10 per car
One of our most popular family programs returns – with the musicians you love! Bring your supper and spread your blanket and lawn chairs. As the fireflies begin to flicker under the trees and in the tall grasses around the property at Mt. Pleasant, listen to musicians and storytellers Bill and Sophie Wellington perform traditional folk music on fiddle, banjo and guitar. Bill has performed and presented thousands of programs to hundreds of thousands of children. Sophie just released her first solo album, Roving Jewel, and is teaching this summer at Augusta Heritage in West Virginia, Cascades of Dance in Maryland, among others.
Parking is limited and price is $10 per car. Carpooling with friends or neighbors is encouraged! Pre-registration is recommended and bring a copy of your confirmation to the event for easy check-in.
