Earth Day 2024 Service Projects

Apr 20 / 9 a.m. – 12 p.m.

Join us for a day of service to celebrate Earth Day by lending a hand on our grounds. We’ll host several volunteer projects, including invasive plant removal, garden cleanup and tree plantings. Then visit the Youth Climate Institute Energy Team’s table to participate in a clothing swap (bring your no-longer-needed hats, T-shirts and shorts) and see the YCI ambassadors’ composting demonstration. Our historic farmhouse will be open from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. as well.

Details and Info:

  • There will be several projects available to join. Volunteers will find a project at the check-in table. Trees are limited.
  • Please remember to dress for the weather.
  • Long pants, sturdy shoes and long sleeves are recommended.
  • Please bring your reusable water bottle and fill up at our bottle refilling station in our nature center.

Online registration ends 24 hours prior to the event. If a program is canceled by the Conservancy, participants will be notified and offered a refund. All other program fees are non-refundable and support educational programs at the Conservancy. Organized groups may not be able to be accommodated at our free programs. Please contact the Conservancy about scheduling a separate program for your group.
