Unfortunately this popular program is already full. We hope you can join us for another upcoming program.
Join members of the Howard County Bird Club as they present basic information to get you started in the wonderful world of birding. Topics will include the history of birding; birding ethics; equipment; how to identify birds; use of eBird and other resources available to help you build on your birding skills. This classroom presentation will be followed by an optional guided bird walk at a later date open only to class participants.
Must be 12 or older to attend. Children between 12 and 17 must be accompanied by an adult. Rain or Shine.
Online registration ends 24 hours prior to the event. If a program is canceled by the Conservancy, participants will be notified and offered a refund. All other program fees are non-refundable and support educational programs at the Conservancy. Organized groups may not be able to be accommodated at our free programs. Please contact the Conservancy about scheduling a separate program for your group.
