Summer Camp has ended; Long live Summer Camp!

After a long, wonderful summer, fall is here at the Conservancy.  It’s a time to reflect upon the season before and a time to try new lessons as schools visit us on field trips.

Summer Wrap Up:

17 Camp Sessions
355 Individual Campers
Tons of new friends for campers
Tons of new ideas for camp staff
277 Days until Camp 2018 begins!

There is so much energy moving forward into the 2018 school year and Summer Camp planning!  Our School’s Out days are filling up with campers (though there is some availability at Belmont in October and both locations over the winter.)  We are working with presenters to come up with new, awesome activities for campers, and we’re brain storming Camp Sessions.

School's Out Sept 21

Campers visiting our School’s Out program investigated plant and pollinator relationships

Now that the school year has begun, we are so excited to have students from all grades visiting us this school year for our Elementary Field Trips. Our first trip of the season will be a BioBlitz, which campers will recognize as an exciting Citizen Science investigation into what lives in the wilderness around us!  We hope to inspire thousands of students this year to investigate, explore, and care for the wild world.

We hope that all of our camp families have a wonderful school year and enjoy all the seasons in between now and Summer Camp 2018!

Until we meet again,
